Privacy Policy

Who we are

Mode is a private wellness club at 4/127 Belmore Street, Yarrawonga VIC 3730. In this policy, “we” and “us” means Mode. This policy explains what personal information we collect through https://www.modewellness.com.au, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you fill in the enquiry form, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your mobile number
• Which rooms you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box

We also collect standard analytics information as you browse: pages visited, how long you stayed, roughly where you are, what device and browser you used, and which ad or link brought you here. This is collected through cookies.

Why we collect it

Enquiry details are used to contact you about membership and to answer your question. Analytics information is used to understand how the site is being used and to measure whether our advertising is working. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run the site and our enquiries. Each one receives only what it needs:

• Vercel hosts the website and processes standard web server logs.
• GoHighLevel stores your enquiry so we can follow it up.
• Google Analytics reports on how the site is used, in aggregate.
• Meta measures whether our advertising leads to enquiries. Where we report an enquiry to Meta, your email and phone number are cryptographically hashed first, so Meta never receives them in readable form.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics and advertising measurement, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but our reporting will be less accurate.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of the services listed above.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@modeyarrawonga.com.au and we will action it. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. The site is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiry details are transmitted directly to the services named above.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
